As of January 18, 2024, Please Note The Following Regardng Board Meetings:
Workshop meetings will be held the first Thursday of each month from 4:45 - 6:45. Workshop meeting locations will be reflected on the workshop agenda.
Regular meetings will be held the third Thursday of each month. Meeting time is 9:00am and will be held at the Molino Farm Bureau building located at 151 Hwy 97-Molino, FL 32577.
All meetings are opened to the public. Meeting dates/time/location are located under the 'Board/Board Meetings' and on the Agenda. The meetings are also noted on the calender. These are PUBLIC NOTICES. Meeting minutes will not be posted until approved at the next regular Board meeting.
Be advised meetings may run shorter than scheduled or over the alloted time stated. Any changes to meeting day, time, or location will be posted under this tab (News & Updates).
2024 Workshop and Regular Meeting Information/Changes:
- Due to library scheduling conflict, the March Workshop meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 4:45p.
- Due to library scheduling, the location of the April 4, 2024 workshop meeting will be held at the Pensacola Library - 239 N Spring Street. Meeting time 4:45p-6:45.
- May 2, 2024 workshop meeting will be held at the Pensacola Libray-239 N Spring Street from 3:00p-5:00.
- THE JUNE 6, 2024 WORKSHOP MEETING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
- July workshop meeting will be held after the regular scheduled Board meeting on Thursday, July 18, 2024. The regular schedule meeting is at 9:00am, 151 Hwy 97-Molino 32577.
- August 1, 2024 (Thursday) Workshop meeting will be held at the Tryon Branch Library, 1200 Langley Ave. from 4:45-6:45.
- September 5, 2024 (Thursday) Workshop meeting will be at the Tryon Branch Libray, 1200 Langley Ave. from 4:45-6:45.
- October 3, 2024 (Thursday) Workshop meeting will be at the Pensacola Library - 239 N Spring Street from 4:45-6:45.
Upcoming Board Events
The Association of Florida Conservation Districts (AFCD) will be hosting an Area 1 meeting on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in Jackson County. One or more of the Escambia SWCD Board will be attending the meeting.
The Soil and Water Board will be a vendor at the 2024 Blue Jacket Jamboree (Northview FFA Chapter) on Saturday, March 23, 2024 beginning at 10:00am. The event will be held at the Escambia County 4-H property - 5701 Hwy 99-Molino 32577. Please come by to meet the members and learn about the Escambia Soil and Water Conservation District!
